Dr. Mercedes Muldoon is a native of Colorado and her family has had pets for as long as she can remember.
Dr. Muldoon previously worked as a veterinary assistant at Plum Creek Veterinary Services, and she is very excited to return to the PCVS team as an associate veterinarian!
She graduated from Auburn University with her Bachelor of Science- Animal Science in 2016 and received her DVM also from Auburn University in May 2021. As a senior veterinary student, she was awarded the President's Award/W. James Samford Jr. Foundation Award, Dr. J.E. Bartels Veterinary Radiology Award, Excellence in Equine Theriogenology Award, and the AAHA Award for Proficiency in Primary Care.
Her professional interests include animal nutrition and pain management in animals. She looks forward to seeing returning and new clients and patients as a doctor!
When she's not at the clinic, Dr. Muldoon can be found spending time with her four dogs- Ryder, Ophelia, Oisin, and Retro and her three cats- Bolt, Doja, and Kettle. She also has been an avid horseback rider from the age of six, competing in multiple disciplines, but currently enjoys trail riding and hunter/jumper with her horses Thunder, Mercury and Tabu.
